Credential evaluation is particularly required for those candidates whose previous education is not from ABET accredited universities. The charges for the credential evaluation is \$350 and the charges for re-evaluation are \$100.

Based on the transcipts evaluated in this process, the NCEES board may find deficiency in your previous coursework and can recommend a list of courses to be taken in engineering, general science, social science and/or business and management categories. A candidate can enroll in nearby engineering university or communicaty college to take such course. If online platforms are preferred, then the candidate can check whether CLEP- College Level Examaniation Program^(R) offers these courses.

A candidate cannot appear for the exam till these deficiencies are removed. Further, if a candidate fails FE exam multiple times, the NCEES may ask to re-evaluate the credentials.
